Marg’s working life started as a junior secretary, progressing to senior secretary and then to PA/EA roles supporting a range of corporate leaders.
While working at Melbourne University, Marg caught the study bug and completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Sociology, followed by an Honours degree (Social Science) and later a Master of Education, majoring in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
In 2003–2004, Marg and her husband lived and worked on campus at universities in China — a formative experience where she taught IELTS Academic to final-year students seeking entry to Australian universities.
On returning to Melbourne in late 2004, Marg was invited to teach advanced English to health professionals.
This was her introduction to the Occupational English Test in Australia, one of the English language tests accepted by AHPRA for health-professional registration.
Our mission is to empower OET candidates by developing their English language skills and instilling the confidence necessary for outstanding performance.
