Marg’s Journey into English Teaching and OET Preparation
Marg Tolliday is an Australian English language educator and founder of OETWorkshop Pty Ltd, a specialist training organisation supporting healthcare professionals with OET preparation since 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, an Honours degree in Social Science, a Master of Education in TESOL, and an Honorary Doctorate in Education – Cognitive Linguistics. Her teaching experience includes IELTS Academic instruction at universities in China, followed by specialist English preparation for overseas-trained doctors, nurses and allied health professionals seeking registration and employment in Australia.
Marg’s teaching approach focuses on helping candidates understand the reasons behind language errors, not just correcting them. Through personalised tuition, practical exam strategies and confidence-building guidance, she has supported hundreds of healthcare professionals worldwide in developing the English skills needed for OET success, AHPRA registration and professional communication in Australia and other English-speaking countries.
