GETTING WORK IN AUSTRALIA

As an overseas-qualified health professional, looking at this website, you are probably required to pass either an IELTS Academic test or an OET Test - to show that you have a high level of English.

After you have achieved your clinical, theoretical and English exams - you will be looking for work.   Finding a potential employer who is willing to give you  " a letter of offer "  may help expedite your registration.   And in order to get that letter of offer,  you need to apply for vacant positions.

In Australia, it is customary to apply using email but, nearly always, prospective employers want you to supply them with an up to date curriculum vitae  (known as a  " c.v. "  -  your resume)  -  and a covering letter.    And that's where the OETWorkshop can help you - by making sure your c.v. looks as good as possible, free from silly spelling errors or grammatical slips.  First impressions are everything.   This service is offered - at no charge - to those OET candidates who are currently studying one of our online packages:  either an eBOOK,  a 2-week online course or a 4-week online course.

Please complete the form below and we will be in contact to arrange a Skype session to talk to you at length about getting work in Australia.
